Not at all.
It is true that the PLC and HMI system has been developed on Linux platform to provide greater stability and lower cost, but the development of software for PLC, which uses standard IEC61131-3 languages, runs on Windows platform.
The programmer will load on your PC the Mect Suite software supplied to the system and will be able to develop its PLC.
